Dear Sir,
We, the inhabitants (বসবাসকারী ) of Pabna town, would like to draw your kind attention regarding the disturbance of the extortionists around the town. The people of this town especially businessmen are facing a lot of problems to run their business. They are compelled to give toll now and then. A group of identified extortionists (চাঁদাবাজ ) are threatening them to pay huge amount of money. Not only the businessmen but also the house builders are under their threat. The new house builders cannot continue their construction work because of the frequent disturbance of the extortionists. They always rush to the new building spot and demand toll. The extortionists come also to the small shop owners, hotel owners, bus owners, vegetable and fish market and other stationery markets to collect undue toll. So, public life is being hampered (বিঘ্নিত) because of their undue demand.
In view of the circumstances stated above, you are requested to take immediate steps to stop the menace of the extortionists. We request you to deploy mobile police force in the business areas and arrest the identified criminals as well as extortionists to ensure the security of public life.
