Subject : Application for increasing the number of books in the college library.

Sir,

We, the students of your college, beg to state that the condition of our college library has become poor and deplorable. Most of the books have been worn out and many of them are outdated regarding their contents and ideas. In the last few years, the authority have not purchased any books. Again, there are no adequate copies of books for which we cannot borrow even when it is necessary for us to borrow. Besides, we have no literary or science magazine neither in the library, nor do we have any English newspaper there in the reading room. In this situation, the students feel the need to have more books in the library because they can take much benefit from the library. So, it is our ardent request that you would be sympathetic enough to our appeal and enrich the library with necessary books to facilitate our study and learning.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind and sympathetic enough to look into the matter on priority basis and oblige us thereby.
